Our Services
Engineering
The Engineering Department consists of a well-staffed group of graduate engineers, designers, and draftspeople skilled in machine design, air handling and dust control systems, conveying equipment, pressure vessel calculations, as well as most facets of civil and structural engineering, hydraulic and pneumatic design, and plant layout.

This Department is equipped with a CAD network and some of the latest software, including Autocad, Structural Analysis and SigmaNest.
The Engineering Department at Goodhart Sons, Inc., is perhaps where you will find some of our most significant changes.

Gone are the labor intensive hours of manual re-draws. Gone too are the mountains of paperwork needed to manage a productive Engineering Department. Modifications and revisions are accomplished in a more time and cost-efficient manner with the aid of computer technology.
Our Engineering Department plays a key role in projects from the quoting stage, drawing stage, to preparing bills of material for our Purchasing Department. The advantages created by our change to advanced computer technology play an important part in the swift completion of every project, whether it’s a customer’s design for equipment requiring shop drawing, an installation job, or a project where Goodhart Sons, Inc.’s Engineering Department assists the customer in taking a concept through all stages from the beginning to completion.
Quality Assurance & Control
We employ three (3) inspection personnel and a welding engineer with CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification.
Manufactured items are inspected by quality control personnel for compliance with customer requirements and Goodhart Sons, Inc. quality standards.

Special Capabilities
Goodhart Sons, Inc. has completed entire jobs requiring concrete, mechanical, electrical, piping, and insulation work by providing:
- Round-the-clock shifts for a minimum amount of plant down-time
- Temperature monitoring systems and controls, burner controls, programmable control equipment and interconnections, electrical to 4" conduit, and electrical interlocking of new and existing equipment
Goodhart Sons, Inc. is licensed in California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinios, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virgina, Maine, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and has performed work in many other locations where licensing has not been required.
