Fabrication

While steel plate still bends the way it always has, and it still takes electricity to make a weld, the equipment to perform these tasks has changed. Our Fabrication Department has also benefited from changes in technology. Whether it’s a 10 foot Roundo rolls, computer aided plasma burning table or pulse mig welders, we have the equipment necessary to satisfy our customers’ needs.

Once a project is detailed by our Engineering Department, the necessary materials, which include hot rolled, stainless, Hastelloy, AL6XN, 317LMN, AVESTA 254, C276 clad and Monel 400, are ordered by our Purchasing Department or drawn from our well stocked warehouse. The project then moves to our Pre-fabrication Department and/or, Machine Shop.

Next to take over are our fitters and welders, who are certified in AWS and ASME. Each operation is under the watchful eye of our Quality Control Department. Prior to completion of each project, arrangements are made for shipping by our Traffic Department.
