Our mission is mentored towards everyone being a good sheppard in following work practices geared to making safety our #1 priority in the workplace, and of demonstrating sound stewardship in meeting environmental rules and regulations.
The core of our safety program can be captured in our policies and procedures that we have in place which reflect some of the following programs:
- New Employee Orientation
- OSHA - 10/30 hour course
- MSHA - Part 46 (surface) and MSHA Part 48 (underground)
- American Heart Association - First Aid CPR/AED – Emergency Response
- Mobile Equipment certification
- Safe Start / Hazard Identification / Corrective Action program
- Customer / Company sight specific training programs
The foundation of our sound safe work practice culture is established and continues to build and grow. Our workforce is very diversified and has been exposed to many safety and work situations, giving them an extremely valuable life lesson safety training tool. As we do each and every day, working together, and learning from each other, will be the steps in moving forward in the growth and success of the company and the importance of exceeding our customer expectations.
